The Shia religious movement has the potential to bring peace, cutting across not only Iran, but Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Meanwhile the role of the U.S. empire is to stir up chaos with its support of Islamic fundamentalism in Saudi Arabia and Turkey as well as by supporting fundamentalism in Israel and India.
