In the 1970s Yankee manufacturers uprooted their bases in the US and relocated to peripheral countries where the land and labor was cheap.
Who would have ever thought that 50 years later European car manufacturers would relocate in Mordor’s Southern region where the land is cheaper and the labor is non-union? It is easier to exploit workers in Mordor than it is to exploit the European working class.
