Rising Global South Industrial Working Class Expanding

Contrary to pop sociologists and journalistic accounts of the “post industrial age”, the industrial working class is bigger than ever. In the global south where most of the industrialization is taking place, strikes are occurring outside of unions. In a way, the horrible working conditions and lack of unionization in these workplaces is a return to England in the early 19th century.
