As most of you know, Silvia Federici has made a great contribution to Marxism in her analysis of the persecution of witches in Europe. In this book she turns her analysis into ways out of the current capitalist crisis. She points out the role of the commons in taking back privatized land and socializing it. She argues that because of women’s historical role of primary involvement with social reproduction, they are in an especially good position to carry this out.
