Twenty years ago Andre Gunder Frank wrote a book predicting the rise of Asia. A few years later world-systems theorist Giovanni Arrighi also predicted the rise of Asia in his book Adam Smith in Beijing. This article names some of the international organizations that are supporting the alliances within the region.
