Promoting political destabilization abroad: National Endowment for Democracy
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED )sounds rather benign. Maybe some kind of liberal foundation offering grants, right? Wrong. As this article points out the NED is a front organization for CIA attempts to destabilize governments internationally. It even has a subdivision devoted to making sure trade unions don’t go in radical directions.
