Pandemic Explodes in the Global South

While at least in parts of Europe the pandemic cases have leveled off, in the global south they are spiraling out of control. It is no accident that in two of the three epicenters of the virus, extreme right-wing governments prevail. These governments do not respect science and are desperate to get people back to work at any cost, including risking the lives of their workers.
