It is very hard to understand how the raving fascist Milei rose to power.
After all, Argentina has applied to BRICS and has begun trading with Russia and China. The most reasonable answer, according to this author, is that he has been installed by the CIA and Wall Street. His economics are a throwback to neoclassical economics and the pipedreams of modernization theory. Hopefully, he will be ousted by the people of Argentina who have all tasted the fruits of what neoliberal policies have to offer.
