The New European Right in Europe has little or nothing to do with the neocons in the United States. It is anti-capitalist, anti-globalist and anti-imperialist and pro state sovereignty.
In this article the authors attempt to suggest that a combination of Eastern Orthodoxy and socialism is a natural fit. For traditional Marxists hostile to religion this fit will be a stretch. But the New European Right invites dialogue with Marxists rather that synthesize it into a single system. Major authorities of the New European Right are Alexander Dugin and Alain de Benoist.
