Norway and Sweden Rediscover the Class Struggle

Most of us don’t think of countries like Norway and Sweden having militant labor forces because their workers are treated relatively well. But no longer. 24,000 workers in Norway have been on strike since Sunday.  The strikes in these industries have severe consequences for capitalists since they include transportation, energy, construction, food and drink. There hasn’t been a strike this large in Norway in 20 years. If the unions can’t come to an agreement with capitalists another 17,000 could join them.
