No Capitalism as Usual in Barcelona: Transportation Workers Rule the Day

Union workers, neighborhood assemblies, student groups, Catalonia citizens of all ages and firefighters have brought a halt to business as usual in Barcelona in the fight for independence. Public transportation is stopped, schools and business are closed, roads are blocked and port operations have been disrupted in the general strike. Hopefully, this will spread beyond today and be joined by the French who are already fed up with their own prime minister’s labor laws.
