It might seem self-evident that capitalists would support its military to fund its imperialist drives around the world.
But just as financial capitalists will not support investment in infrastructure or real goods and services, in civilian life so the same capitalists do not want to invest in the military infrastructure because the turn-around time on profits is too slow. The result is that they will be bypassed by Russia and China.
