This is a no holds barred discussion of what is becoming of NATO. It begins with its origin as part of the Cold War.
Its purposes are to control the capitalist periphery and contain communism. Over the years it has strayed far from its origins in the North Atlantic. Pepe Escobar calls it “Northern Hemisphere Trade Association”. Despite its failure in Ukraine, it is contemplating intervening in China’s relationship with Taiwan. Its military losses in Ukraine have created a rift within NATO.
