At the end of the year Marxian economist Michael Roberts presents an overview of roughly 10 books he has read over the past year. Michael follows Marxist theory that the cause of capitalist crises is the tendency of the rate of profit to fall.
Most of the books he reviews are by other Marxists, some with different theories of capitalist crisis. There are three books written by left liberals. In all reviews Michael very fairly presents the authors view in a paragraph or so and then he criticizes them. All the books he reviews are substantive.
