One of the things that makes this a good article is that it does not focus of the dirty tricks of Amazon capitalists per se. Their tactics are what all employers do and there is little point in complaining about them. The article also points out there was a shortage of workplace leaders willing to speak out publicly for fear of being fired. It also shows the difficulty of organizing under the current labor laws. Lastly, it gives a grander historical perspective, which makes this loss less painful. Surprisingly, what is lacking is a criticism of the union and the amount of time they spent courting Democrats instead of organizing workers. This was pointed out by the World Socialist Website.
