All too frequently the heads of unions maintain a myopic preoccupation with their own struggles. They are not very good at reaching out to consumers, the community surrounding the union or other unions.
Here is a story of an exception to the rule. Labor organizers and community workers have reached out to federal workers. This expanding network is the only way the labor movement has a prayer as Mordor descends into the flames.
