It’s the oil, as usual. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world which is the primary motive of the US sending troops there. But as this article points out the political actions of Mordor have consequences for all of Latin America.
Discredited in West Asia, Asia and even growing parts of Africa Mordor seeks to control all the countries south of the border, especially Mexico and Brazil. Â What the article does not point out in that this move is not going uncontested. China is beginning to get involved.
