Is a NATO of the East Forming?

This article points out that meetings between Mordor, Japan and South Korea are attempts to encircle China. Mordor hopes to lure Japan and South Korea into doing some of its dirty work in Taiwan. What the article does not talk about is why the Japanese and South Korean leadership continue to support Mordor when it is increasingly clear that Yankeedom is collapsing.
