Linguistic propaganda is readily apparent in government of Modi’s attempt to seize the fertile land of Indian farmers. The state claims it is taking the land to promote “industrial development”.
But what it has actually done is sold the land to real estate agents. And what will these real estate agents be investing in? Industrial equipment to make the farmers work easier? Why, no. They want to build luxury apartments. The farmers have been on strike for over 2,000 days. They seem to be one week away from winning.
