Indentured Servant Truck Drivers at LA/Long Beach Ports
The image many of us have of truck drivers is of a relatively independent life as they experience “freedom of the road”. But according to a recent investigative report by USA today, truck-drivers in the LA/Long Beach Ports are “indentured servants”. The Teamsters are no help, according to the WSWS.
