IMF Forgives Ukraine Debt to Russia
Should nation-states pay their bank debts to other nation-states? According to the International Monetary Fund it depends on the country. If you owe debts to the United States or Europe you have to pay. But if you are a member of the IMF, like Ukraine, and you owe money to another country that is not in the US or most of Europe, you don’t have to pay. Very noble of IMF to help Ukraine. Politically motivated? Of course not! Banks are above politics.
