This is an interesting interview with Nick Brana about what a run by Robert Kennedy Jr. would mean for third party politics. We agree that if he ran as a third party candidate in any party he could get well over 5 %. However, unlike Cornell West, his run has nothing to do with socialism. In addition, we doubt he would stick with a third party over the next decade. We think he would be welcomed back by the Democratic Party as a “maverick” the way Bernie Sanders was.
