From Moment to Movement: NewsGuild Workers on How to Organize

In the last five years 7,000 workers in 145 shops have been organized with the NewsGuild, a sector of the Communications Workers of America. In their efforts to keep up with the number of workers seeking to get organized, these busy little beavers are answering phone calls from non-union workers, responding to  emails, training new organizing committees, and supporting union certification elections. The leadership skills required to do this also involves identifying potential leaders.
