For those who work in a capitalist society automation is a frightening word. But one of the strategies to fight it is to ask which jobs in your industry are likely to be on the chopping block.
The second strategy is to unionize the problem making sure that AI is not being used to outsource jobs to non-union locations. The third strategy is to demand more money if the employer attempts to bring AI in. Lastly, unions could work to block AI from being used. Obviously, this requires maximum militancy on the union’s part.
