Fading European Union Looks East, Not West
First, Germany has signed long term deals with China, weakening its ties to the United States. Now France is also looking eastward for its infrastructural needs to be met. These are the two major powers holding up a rickety European Union which is caught between a rapidly declining US empire and a rising new Eurasian Age.
