Ebrahim Raisi has left an important legacy. He was the first president of Iran in 35 years to have a united domestic and international program.
Under his regime, with China’s help, Iran has buried the hatchet with Saudi Arabia. Second, Iran joined a very important international economic group, The Shanghai Cooperative Organization. Third, under his leadership Iran has applied to BRICS. Ebrahim Raisi cast a long shadow and will be missed.
