Day after day we hear of “crippling” sanctions Mordor is imposing on Russia, but we never hear how Russians will counter those sanctions. There are many moves to be made and none of them depend on other countries, with the possibility of China. One is the stabilization of the ruble as an exchange rate. Another is taxation on currency speculation. A third is the further de-dollarization of foreign currency and reliance on gold. Lastly, the investment of research and development on energy transport and communication is an important counter to these sanctions.
