We sometimes present economists in too dualistic a way. On one hand mainstream economists are simply cheerleaders for capitalism. On the other, there are Marxian economists.
But there is also a rare breed of economics such as Martin Wolf who defends capitalism but admits there are major problems. The problems he points to are no surprises. What is more telling is that even some mainstream economics know capitalism is in trouble.
