This is a deep analysis of why significant layers of the Yankee population are resigning from their current low-paying, slave-like working conditions. It isn’t just that work is dangerous under COVID conditions, either. The article points out that “The Great Resignation” is happening in other parts of the world. Furthermore, unemployed workers are not bothering to apply for new jobs. Workers refusing to work is not enough by itself to challenge capitalism. But when this is combined with labor strikes by those who are employed, it makes for increasing challenges for the capitalist vampires.
