Criticism of the Counter-Culture Does Not Dismiss Spirituality

Cynthia Chung has written a series of articles criticizing the counter-culture in the West as the invention of the British rulers at the end of the 19th century. Her response is to some of her readers who feel she is criticizing all spirituality.

In this response she defends herself against such charges. At the same time she is pointing out how philosophy of the counterculture has led to relativism, permissive parenting, the idealization of the emotions and the lack of respect for science.
