Michael Hudson and Radhika Desai were both economic advisers to the Green Party in the last election and this came as a result of complete disgust with the Democratic Party. Radhika says that from now until November there will be a civil war within the Democratic Party, given all the socialists who have been elected in the past few months.
Michael throws down the gauntlet and says the Democratic Party must end. Will the new socialists within the Democratic Party do what Bernie Sanders should have done 10 years ago – leave the Democrats and form a new party? Will the Democrats go the way of the Whigs?
