Chinese Labor Protests Multiply as “Communist” Party Scrambles

One of the ironies of history is that the party that started out as the most radical expression of the working class is at the head of a government trying to repress its own workers. But names can be deceiving, given that The Communist Party of China has accepted the politics of market fundamentalism that is responsible for the world crisis in capitalism.

But names can be deceiving everywhere. For example what does the Republican Party have to do with republics? What does the Democratic Party have to do with democracy?
