Two of the issues of the disputed land mass between India and China really have to do with the relationship between China and the U.S. India wants to use the disputed land mass to build a military base. What does that have to do with the U.S.? The U.S. has an agreement with India to share military bases. The other issue around disputed areas has to do with the Chinese-Pakistan corridor. Indian presence in the disputed area weakens the continued building of that corridor. Yankee interests are deeply threatened by China’s New Silk Road and its subsidiary projects.
