Capturing the Word “Enterprises” from Capitalism for Socialism

The word “enterprise” in the West is a capitalist, loaded virtue world. It means ambitious, cunning, and ingenious. There is an implied contrast to socialist economics that are perceived of as conservative, plodding and unimaginative. But Luis Razeto Migliaro and Matt Noyes challenge the capitalist use of this term. They argue that the use of the term enterprise can help coops define themselves more clearly and show that there can also be socialist enterprises.
