Capitalist Fundamentalism at Work In Mexico: Gas Prices Sky-Rocket!

Thanks to the privatization of the state owned gas resources, Mexicans now face a 22% hike in the price of gas. While in the U.S. that may not sound like much, given the minimum wage in Mexico, this article says it would take 12 days of work at minimum wage to fill a gas tank! In some cases people have taken over gas stations, and redistributed gas at lower prices.
