Can the 21st Century French Revolution Afford to be Leaderless?

Being out in the streets everyday is one thing, but these are defensive reactions to pension cuts. Let us imagine that Macron feels the pressure and gives in. “Ok, I won’t raise the retirement age”. Is that the end? Is all this collective creative energy brought to a halt? That would be terrible. Clearly there must be at least one political party that calls for Macron to step down and replace him with their own socialist program. The author of the article reviews the various socialist parties and none of them appear able to take power. One shortcoming of the article is that nothing is mentioned about Le Pen and what strategy she is using.
