Sinn Féin won the elections, but not by much. The center-right politics of the other two parties that have dominated for 90 years will still be around to throw a monkey wrench into Sinn Féin’s social programs. In addition, Sinn Féin’s victory raises the question of Irish #reunification. In order for that to be realized, #SinnFéin has to reassure the Protestants in #northernireland that its rights will be respected.
