Can 21st Century Socialism Work With the Democratic Party?
The Democratic Socialists of America has tripled in size to 18,000 members, capitalizing on the popularity of Bernie Sanders. According to this article the leadership wants to continue its “inside-outside” strategy of working with the Democratic Party. However, its newer members are more skeptical, along with the writer of this article. While we agree with the author, we wish they were more specific about what building an alternative party would look like.
