The BRICS countries show of “unity” did not bother to mention who is against it. That is the United States. The US war on Iran has created a global crisis in energy but none of this was mentioned in their unity statement.
The tensions between Iran and UAE and the tensions between China and India were swept under the rug. Increasingly, the real opposition to the West including China, Russia and Iran is where we see the real military, economic and strategic opposition. Hopefully, this configuration will replace BRICS which continuously shows a lack of backbone and militancy in the face of US desperation and decline. The current BRICS deliberations move at the speed of a turtle.
