As we are regularly bombarded with terrorist state Israel ‘s daily destruction of Palestinian life, it is rewarding to know the sun is shining elsewhere.
At this year’s Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, 140 countries are attending representing 3/4 of the world. Thirty international organizations will be represented across 5 continents. The theme may as well be Marx’s exhortation to “develop the productive forces”. This unity is inspiring since the countries involved have different economic and political systems, historical cultures and are in various stages of social development.
