This is a good, short article explaining the bipolar stock market using the theories of economist Hyman Minsky. Running an economy based on speculation has its costs. In Minsky’s “financial instability hypothesis”, speculative bubbles grow out and then tank when asset values collapse. Are we on our way to this?
