7 Workers Use World Cup as Leverage Against ICE and Capitalists

In order to strike successfully workers must plan strategically. They must  figure out the best time, timing, place and circumstances for their strike whether they are in unions or not.

Workers in LA,  Philadelphia and Seattle won strikes by connecting up  the strike to the World Cup events. Besides successfully negotiating higher wages they also won the right to walk off the job if  ICE agents are present at those work locations without being fired for it.
