21st Century Anglo-American Coup Attempts: New Techniques, Big Failures

In Yankeedom today there are two new additions to state terrorists’ attempts to overthrow governments abroad. The first is the use of former military personnel. The advantage of this is that mercenaries are already trained, saving costs. The second addition is the use of private armies – such as Blackwater. The benefit here is that there is no Congressional oversight and if the mercenaries are killed, it doesn’t go on the record of US war casualties. The good news for us is that two recent US operations: “Project Opus” and “Operation Gideon” in Venezuela have failed. Lastly the British operation against Syria, “Operation Scream”, also was a failure.
