Michael Roberts begins his article by discussing the elections in Germany with the right-wing Nationalist Party set to win about 30% of the seats.
The left-wing party will win about 20%. Michael points out that all over Europe, reactionary parties are polling at 10-15%. Later in his article, this phenomenon is connected to the thesis of his book , “The Long Depression”.
