The Teamsters do not exactly have a history of radical unionism. At annual conventions challengers are lucky to receive 5% of the vote that would qualify them to run in elections. Reform bills have been sitting on the shelves for decades. But apparently COVID capitalism can move mountains. At a most recent on-line convention, opposition challengers received 50% of the votes. In addition, their constitutional amendments have been passed. New election are just 4 months away.
