Socialist Planning Circles: Building Scaffolds Before the Wreckage

Why is is that socialists form discussion groups about theory but do not form discussion groups about how these theories can turn into socialist plans? 

Plans mediate between principles and strategies. Plans  ground principles, making them more tangible, while plans give wings to strategies by keeping the long-view in mind. This article is about the necessity of building scaffolds if we expect to build socialist institutions.
