In the heydays of Mordor capitalism, a magazine like Foreign Affairs would caution against war and for international trade.
But in the last 50 years, capitalists’ profits have been invested in military and finance capital and can no longer compete with China in the fields of building infrastructures or harnessing energy internationally. Its strategies for war are completely unrealistic in that many capitalists in Mordor want to trade with China. Additionally, the United States has already lost control over the financial systems of the world.
