In the overwhelming number of cases, at least in Yankeedom, protests do not last for more than a day, if that. But in Portland last year they went on for months. How did people do it?
- The organizers formed teams of street medics.
- They created an online calendar.
- They created “out of jail” packages for jailed protesters.
- They built relationships with surrounding communities that were impacted by police violence against protestors.
