On the surface it’s easy to say that cosmology has nothing to do with religion. However, the Big Bang theory does support the creationist theory of the universe. In addition, recent research has shown a growing number of holes in Big Bang theory, with the implication that the universe is eternal. The author also links the prevalence of the Big Bang theory to the Rockefeller’s program of limits to growth, painting a portrait of human beings as passive and as pollutants.
