As Sabrina Salvati says, in her entire lifetime the alternative to the status quo has been reform, most famously in the politics of Bernie Sanders. But she says that now in terms of when the working class is getting hammered into the ground, revolution is the only realistic alternative.
Sabby uses Richard Wolff’s example of reform. First the failure of the Social Democratic Party in Germany and then reformers of the institution of slavery. Sabby’s notion of revolution is far wider than a secret society attacking the White House with guns.
